Pan Mountain
Pan Mountain in Ji County enjoys a reputation as the "First Mountain in Jing-dong." Its major landscapes are called Five Peaks and Eight Stones. Because the mountain was once literally filled with temples (which were destroyed later but have now been rebuilt), Pan Mountain is also known as the Eastern Wutai Mountain. The sculptures on the rocks around the Temple of Thousands of Statues (Qianxiang Si) are the only linear carving works preserved in Tianjin.
