Tianjin

Tianjin, or "Jin" for short, is the largest open coastal city in North China. In the north, it is next to Yan Mountain and in the east the Bohai Sea. Having a coastline of around 95 miles, it boasts a vast expanse of coastland. Abounding in fishing, mining, open water, and travel resources, it is known as the "Pearl of the Bohai Sea." The city covers an area of 4,247 square miles with a population of 10 million (2000 census).
