Yongde Palace
Known for its murals, Yon-gle Palace is about 2 miles north of Ruicheng County. In the 1950s, the entire palace was renovated and now includes the original gateway with lobby, the Dragon and Tiger Hall, Sanqing Hall, and others. Yongle Palace is composed of a large group of Taoist temples and a cluster of representative structures from the Yuan Dynasty. Hundreds of murals cover an area of more than 10,000 square feet and are well preserved within all the halls. These paintings show the finest artistic tradition of the Tang and Song Dynasties, and also reflect the characteristics of the Yuan Dynasty.
