Zhu Jiajiao Town
Zhu Jiajiao Town is located in the western suburb of Shanghai, beside Dingshan Lake. Endowed with another elegant name, "Pearl of South China," the little town has been a business quarter since ancient times. Situated along the stream, North Street is only 10 to 13 feet wide and goes through the town's business center. Only a tiny piece of sky can be seen at its narrowest part. The private residences, built in the Ming and Qing periods, are well-preserved and worth a visit.
