Site of the Yaozhou Kiln

The site of the Yaozhou Kiln is located in the town of Huangbao, Tongchuan, Shaanxi Province. The Yaozhou Kiln was one of the six famous kilns in ancient China. Begun in the Tang Dynasty, and developed in the Five Dynasties, the kiln reached its peak in the Northern Song and Jin Dynasties, and closed at the end of the Yuan Dynasty. The Yaozhou Kiln, known as "Ten-li Kiln," has a history of firing pottery for more than 800 years, leaving behind a rich cultural heritage. More than 3 million pieces of various kinds of cultural relics and 200 workshops have been excavated near this kiln.
