Former Site of the Revolution in Ruijin
Located in Ruijin at the western foot of Wuyi Mountain (Wuyi Shan), this group of historical buildings includes Yeping and Shazhou Ba and several memorial buildings. Yeping is 3 miles northeast of Ruijin City, which was the headquarters of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) from 1931 to 1933. Shazhou Ba is 3 miles southwest of the city. In April 1933, the interim central government moved here from Yeping. The former site of the Executive Committee of the interim central government is located in Yuantai House (Yuantai Wu), where leaders such as Mao Zedong, Xu Teli, and Xie Juezai lived.
