Nanyang Han Painting Museum

Nanyang Han Painting Museum lies on the west of the Chezhannan Road, opposite Wuhou Ci. It was built in 1935 and rebuilt in 1959 and 1988. Covering an area of 14 acres, the present museum is the earliest and largest museum specializing in the collection, exhibition, and study of paintings and stone engravings of the Han Dynasty. There are more than 2,000 paintings in the museum, with the best of them exhibited in the 64,583-square-foot exhibition hall in the main building.
