Xiuding Temple Pagoda

Xiuding Temple Pagoda, also known as Tang Pagoda, is on Qingliang Mountain, 22 miles northwest of An-yang. Built in the Northern Wei Dynasty, the pagoda has three courtyards, all facing south. The main halls include the Hall of Lokspala, the Great Buddha Hall, the Second Buddha Hall, and the Iron Tile Hall. The pagoda itself, a pavilion-shaped brick structure, lies between the Great Buddha Hall and the Iron Tile Hall. Built in the Tang Dynasty, the orange-colored pagoda is also called the Red Pagoda.
