Prosperity Temple

Prosperity Temple in the city of Ning'an in Bohai County was built in the first year of Emperor Kangxi's reign. The temple complex was constructed originally in the Qing architectural style. Part of it was ruined by fire but was rebuilt in subsequent dynasties. Today the temple consists of five halls: Ma King Hall, Guan General Hall, Heaven King Hall, Daxiong Hall, and Three-Saint Hall. All are made of wooden arch-like structures, with aisles deco rated with red grids, carved beams, and painted pillars. Buddha statues abound.
