Anping Qiao

Located in the town of Anhai in Jinjiang, Anping Bridge is the longest ancient stone bridge in China. The bridge, 6,791 feet long and 10 feet wide, spans a little more than 1 mile of ocean between Anhai in Jinjang and the town of Shuitou in Nan'an. First constructed in 1138, the deck is made of huge flagstones, and on both sides are balusters. In addition, there are several pavilions and a small temple on the bridge itself. It is a great place to walk, talk with the locals, and enjoy the scenery.
