Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area

Located in south Wuyishan on the border of the three provinces of Fujian, Zhejiang, and Jiangxi, the Wuyi Mountain Scenic Area is known as one of the top scenic wonders in southeast China. Mount Huanggang, outside of Wuyishan City, has the highest peak (7,080 feet) of Wuyi Mountain, which includes 36 peaks, 99 rocks, 72 caves, and 108 scenic spots. Wuyi Mountain is famous for its historical and cultural landmarks, which feature the Wuyi Palace, Ziyang School, a boat-coffin burial site, and inscriptions on the cliffs.
