Peach Blossom Pond
Located on the shores of Taiping Lake in Jing County, Peach Blossom Pond is part of the Qingyi River system from Zhaicun to Wancun. The terrain here is level and expansive. It is by this pond that the great ancient Chinese poet Li Bai, in the Tang Dynasty, was seen off by his friend Wang Lun, who wrote him the famous poem "To Wang Lun": "I'm on board, about to sail. When there's stamping and singing on shore; the Peach Blossom Pond is a thousand feet deep, Yet not so deep, Wang Lun, as your love for me."
